SUMMARY:30 anni di alligatore @ opera estate
DESCRIPTION:Villa Cerchiari\,\nIsola Vicentina \nIn 2025 the Alligator\, the character born from the pen of Paduan writer Massimo Carlotto\, celebrated his thirtieth anniversary. To mark the occasion\, this event features Carlotto himself alongside Andrea Pennacchi and musicians Maurizio Camardi\, Sergio Marchesini\, and Ricky Bizzarro. \nIn 1995\, La verità dell’Alligatore was published: a novel that went on to give rise to one of the most beloved noir sagas\, capable of portraying the Northeast with direct\, bluesy\, and disillusioned language. L’Alligatore\, Marco Buratti’s nickname\, sang in a blues band called the Old Red Alligators. But his life changed after serving seven years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. It was then that he became an unlicensed private investigator. \nThirty years after his first appearance\, he comes back to life on stage through the words of his author and the voice of Andrea Pennacchi\, in a dialogue where noir meets irony and music becomes storytelling. A journey through stories\, sounds\, and reflections\, a way to retrace three decades of current events and social transformations\, but also to rediscover that poetic and civic spirit that has made Carlotto’s work a benchmark in the genre. A journey along the path charted by this detective who forges a deeply intimate relationship with the reader\, because he brings to the surface that desire for idealistic justice that coincides with\, and at the same time conflicts with the very essence of noir\, which best reveals the world’s darkest contradictions. \nMassimo Carlotto narrator\nAndrea Pennacchi narrator\nMaurizio Camardi sax e duduk\nSergio Marchesini accordion\nRicky Bizzarro guitar and voice
